Challenge: |
The Texas Association for School Nutrition used an outside publisher for its quarterly member publication, the
TASNews. TASN wanted to produce its magazine in-house. I was hired to do the design and layout for the magazine, which varies in
length from about 60 to about 72 pages.

Result: |
A completely reinvented TASNews publication, designed and implemented after extensive consultation with
TASN staff. The TASNews now better reflects the mission, purpose, and style preferences of the organization. I am contracted to do
the TASNews design through October 2011.
The TASNews Spring 2009 and Summer 2009 issues won two internationally acclaimed awards: the MarCom Platinum Award for
Association Magazines- TASNews Spring 2009 and the MarCom Gold Award Association Magazines- TASNews Summer 2009.
